What is a Sports Physical?
The purpose of the preparticipation physical is to evaluate if it is safe for the athlete to participate in their sport. The participant’s general health, risk of injury, concussion risk, fitness level and risk for sudden cardiac death. Florida Sports physicals are good for 1 year unless injury or new medical conditions warrant a reevaluation prior to the expiration date.
