Hypnotherapy
What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is when hypnosis is used as part of treatment for a medical condition. It is an evidenced-based, successful treatment for many common conditions such as pain, fears, anxiety, functional symptoms, habits and bedwetting.
Experiencing hypnosis is like having an enjoyable daydream. While in this state of mind, you can better use your inner resources to help achieve your desired changes.
Increasing your ability to control symptoms through hypnosis can strengthen confidence and self esteem and is a skill that can be used throughout the lifetime.
Can Children be Hypnotized?
Yes! Kids have great imagination and go in and out of trance throughout the day. Given this and their openness to suggestions makes them great candidates for hypnotherapy.

What to Expect
Initial Visit
The main purpose of this visit is to get to know your child and how they feel about their situation and what if anything they would like to be different. Dr Soylu will also review any previously completed questionnaires. By the end of the visit, Dr Soylu will let you know if hypnosis would be a valuable treatment option and give any recommendations for care prior to the next visit or whether alternative or additional treatment would be suggested.
Follow up Visits
The hypnosis sessions will begin at the first follow up visit. Everyone is different so no 2 sessions will be the same.
